Canvassing for Opinion - aka "Blairs Brain on Cannabis"

IMHO prohibition sentiment requires inherent addiction to status quo, an incapacity to visualise beyond the here and now and a desperate desire to know others might feel the same... Reform is not revolutionary, rather it is evolutionary. Having survived banging your head against a brick wall the evolutionist relishes having stopped. / Blair

RIP: Gary William Meyerhoff

Gary had AIDS, he was 31 yrs young, and he had insight.

An activist on many fronts, his voice will leave a lasting legacy in Australian drug policy. He was a founding member of the Darwin-based drug law reform and human rights group the Network Against Prohibition (NAP)

I had the priviledge of speaking with Gary from time to time. I ceded my entry (and travel money) to enable Gary to attend the Melbourne Harm Reduction conference in recognition of the valuable work he does for indigenous & elderly, mentally compromised and those with AIDS/HEPC and more... for such a young man to be lost to the world is sad indeed.

He was always ever creative, forthright and as the future will come to know...Right.

His blog garywmeyerhoff is a great legacy, but his work will always be outstanding.

He is buried today in Perth.
Goodbye Gary....
